The Waccamaw Neck is a narrow peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Waccamaw River in Georgetown County, also known as the Hammock Coast of South Carolina. Parallel to the always busy Highway 17 is the Waccamaw Neck Bikeway, which runs from Murrells Inlet to Sandy Island Road near Huntington Beach State Park.

The paved trail (6 miles of continuous trail and 2 sections of 4 miles) allows for biking or walking, and weaves through some of the area’s most breathtaking outdoor landscapes.
