President & CEO: Michelle is a Belton, SC native and has over 20 years of experience working with local communities on tourism and community development.  

On the national level she serves as Immediate Past Chairman of the Alliance of National Heritage Areas; a national membership organization comprised of national heritage areas and partners around the country that support and practice sustainable heritage development and holds an officers position on the National Heritage Development Partnership Board.  

In SC she serves on the Palmetto Agribusiness Council and as Co-Chairman of the SC Rural Resource Coalition.

 

GRACE NELSON

Director of Marketing & Communications: A Mass Communications major at the University of South Carolina, Grace has been with the SC National Heritage Corridor since 2008 and has since gained vast experience in marketing for South Carolina communities including everything from strategic planning and content writing to social media campaigns, website management, and magazine publishing.

Grace works as the team lead on a wide range of projects across the state and utilizes a personal approach to discovering unique stories, building engaging brands and executing effective marketing for all sizes and budgets. Grace grew up in Barnwell County, resided in Aiken for 10 years and currently lives in Fort Mill, SC with her husband and two kiddos.  

 

ANNA JOYNER
Your Design & Style Engineer

Director of Graphic Design: Anna has been with the Corridor for over 12 years as the Director of Advertising and Creative Design. She has managed the design components of numerous large-scale projects that include everything from print media and branding design to gateway signage and downtown streetscapes.     

Anna is knowledgeable in Adobe InDesign, Digital Publishing Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator and currently works out of her office in Edgefield, SC and she resides in North Augusta, SC with her husband and twin 10-year-olds.   

 

AMANDA LOCASCIO

Media Sales Coordinator: Amanda brings to the table nearly 20 years of media sales coordination and planning, advertising client service, and agency relations. Her past clientele includes prestigious titles such as MONEY, FORTUNE, GOLF, The Wall Street Journal, Gourmet, and Food Network Magazine. 

Amanda grew up in New York before moving to Atlanta and eventually transplanted to Fort Mill, SC with her husband, three daughters, and lazy lab Tucker. We have recently allowed her to call herself a southerner. 

 

YUKA GREER
Your Puzzle Master & Timekeeper

Director of Business Operations: Yuka is the team member that keeps the process moving smoothly. She manages the project budget, timelines, and ensures that all deliverables are being met. Yuka is Japanese by birth and South Carolinian by choice. She lives in Anderson, SC with her husband and two daughters.
